Time Frame: 3-6 months

Position Description:

We currently have a position available for someone who is looking to embark on a career in IT/Technical Support. The successful candidate will be provided with all the necessary training required to help them gain the valuable skills and experience required to make it in the industry. 

From a technical point of view we are looking for someone who has an appreciation of:

  • PC troubleshooting
  • Network Fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
  • Familiar with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Blackberry)
  • Knowledge of Apple devices
  • Basic knowledge in TCP/IP

From a services point of view:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Quick learner
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Patient when it comes to explaining things to users with little or no technical knowledge.
  • An eye for detail and empathy for our users
  • Honest, reliable and punctual

From a day to day point of view:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Familiar with different browsers - IE/Firefox/Chrome
  • Knowledge of different OS - XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8
